Does opioid use disorder have any effect on my eligibility for a New Jersey medical cannabis card?
Opioid use disorder qualifies as a debilitating condition as of January 2019, but patients must show proof of medication-assisted therapy (MAT) receipt.

How to Become a Caregiver in New Jersey

Is it possible for someone else to pick up my medical marijuana prescription in New Jersey for me?
Yes, register up to two caregivers. They can fulfill prescriptions from selected treatment centers. If someone only drives you but you pick up yourself, caregiver registration isn't necessary.
How do I register as a medical marijuana caregiver in New Jersey?
Caregivers can't self-register; patients must complete caregiver registration during initial registration or later through the state portal.
Are there differing New Jersey state fee requirements if you are a legal guardian of qualifying minor patient?
