What are the cannabis purchasing limits in New Mexico?
Adult use consumers can buy 2 ounces of flower, 16 grams of concentrate, or 800mg of edibles per transaction. Medical consumers may purchase up to 15 ounces of flower or the equivalent in one transaction or split up between several transactions, tax free, every three months. Purchases exceeding 15 ounces are subject to excise tax.
How much medical marijuana can I possess in New Mexico?
Recreational consumers may possess up to 2 ounces of flower equivalent in public. Medical patients can possess up to 15 ounces equivalent for transport home. There is no limit on cannabis possession at home so long as it is locked up and out of public view.
Is it possible to give marijuana as a gift in New Mexico?
Yes, you can give away up to 2oz or the equivalent without any form of payment.
